Welcome! My name is Nana, and I'm the founder of The Ladies Abroad. I'm originally from Dallas, Texas, and have a passion for encouraging women to travel.

I first started my traveling journey in October of 2016 when I moved to London to pursue my master's degree at Birbeck, University of London. I guess you can say that I'm a bit of a risk-taker because I knew not a soul when I moved there. I've never even traveled to another state by myself but found myself on the other side of the world. I was nervous about this new change, but it was the best decision of my life.  

Living in London, I had the opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds; It was such an amazing feeling! London is a melting pot of different nationalities, and that's what I love about it. I was meeting people from different walks of life. 

My huge move to London inspired me to continue to see the world beyond my time as a student, and I did. As I continued my travels, I wanted to create a diverse space that would allow other women to connect in beautiful destinations around the world. Thus, The Ladies Abroad was born.
